Academy 4

Trinity is proud to begin a new partnership with Academy 4 this fall at Woodway Elementary.  Academy 4 is mentoring program aimed at connecting 4th graders in title 1 schools with a positive adult role model.  They focus on teaching life skills that will equip these kids to be the very best person they can be while at the same time expanding the horizons of these 4th graders.  This program has a tremendous positive impact on the kids, families, and schools they partnered with.

Trinity is partnering with other Lutheran Churches in SW Fort Worth and other organizations to create the pool of volunteers needed for the program to run.  It takes over 90 people to make Academy 4 work at Woodway Elementary.  If you want to know more and/or volunteer please email Pastor Will at foster@tlcfw.org.  You don’t have to be a member of Trinity to volunteer.  All are welcome here!
