We are located at 3621 Tulsa Way at the corner of Montgomery Street and Camp Bowie (across from McDonalds). Tulsa Way intersects Montgomery Street just one block south of Camp Bowie Blvd., approximately one mile north of West Freeway (or I-30) about 1 mile west of Downtown Fort Worth.

 Dr. FurrDr. Laurence Furr  is Director of Music Ministries at Trinity. Dr. Furr directs the Sanctuary Choir; Ring of Fire! Handbell Choir; Children’s choir; and teaches Musikgarten® to over 80 children in Trinity Lutheran Children’s Center.

He has been at Trinity since 1997 with a two year absence in San Diego. Growing up Seventh-day Adventist, he developed a strong tradition of family and church and attended Adventist schools from 1st grade to his sophomore year in college. He has a Bachelor’s (UTA) and Master’s (TCU) degree in Organ Performance. He was a Fulbright Scholar at the Royal Superior Conservatory of Music of Madrid, Spain--studying harpsichord. His Ph.D. (UTA) is in Humanities with an emphasis in music and art history. He has served as Parish Musician in several denominations including Roman Catholic, Episcopalian, Disciples of Christ, and Lutheran.

Mr. John Hopkins directs the African Marimba players, and provides music for special services.  Mr. Hopkins is an outstanding pianist and composer of contemporary music affiliated with several local organizations and also Texas Christian University.

Misti Johnson serves the congregation as our volunteer Youth Coordinator. She is responsible for accompanying youth grades 7-12th in their activities and in directing additional volunteers who assist in that capacity. She schedules youth activities for Middle School and High School students and coordinates their fund-raising activities, social activities, mission trips, and study opportunities outside of Sunday School. 

SmithDiana Smith is the Director of Trinity Lutheran Children’s Center (TLCC). Trained as a parochial school teacher, she directs the program and staff involving approximately 100 children from six weeks of age through Kindergarten. Diana is a member of Trinity, serves as a Worship Assisting Minister and on the Altar Guild.  Through the work of Diana TLCC has gained a stellar reputation in the Fort Worth community and many of the TLCC students come as word of mouth referrals, some from the children of students Diana had over 20 years ago.  TLCC is a major outreach ministry of our congregation.

  

Mrs. LongMary Ann Long is our Office Administrator. She manages the Church Office and is the first point of contact for most people when they call on the phone and inquire about the ministry of the congregation. Her responsibilities include producing the weekly worship bulletin, producing “Views,” the monthly newsletter of the congregation; as well as special projects like assisting in producing support materials for classes, programs for special fellowship events, etc.
