MohnRev. Kendra Mohn has been at Trinity since 2010. From 2010-2016 she worked as Trinity’s Teaching Pastor; she now serves as Trinity’s Lead Pastor.

Pastor Mohn was raised on a farm near Cherokee, Iowa, where she grew up showing 4-H livestock at the fair, taking music lessons, working at the local radio station, and helping out at church. She is a graduate of Luther College in Decorah, IA (BA 1999, cello performance and communication/linguistics), the University of Pittsburgh, PA (MA 2001, historical musicology) and Luther Seminary, St. Paul, MN (MDiv 2005). She did her pastoral internship at Messiah Lutheran, Auburn, WA (2003-2004), and was ordained at Bethlehem Lutheran, Cherokee, IA, in October 2005. After graduation, she served Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa, WI, as Associate Pastor (2005-2009) and Interim Senior Pastor (2009-2010).
Kendra is also a PhD candidate in Biblical Studies at Brite Divinity School at TCU. Her academic interests include the ways that gender, empire, and power intersect in the New Testament. Her dissertation work focuses on the depiction of male figures in the Gospel of Matthew in light of Roman constructions of masculinity. She loves teaching and learning, and likes thinking critically with others about how the church, the academy, and contemporary culture intersect.
In her spare time, Pastor Mohn enjoys reading, writing, photography, travel, and cheering for the TCU Horned Frogs and Iowa State Cyclones. She is married to Rev. Erik Gronberg, who is Bishop of the Northern Texas-Northern Louisiana Synod of the ELCA.  Kendra and Erik live in the Foster Park neighborhood of Fort Worth with their three children and rescue cat named Minerva.
SchroederRev. Matthew Schroeder is happy to be serving the people of Trinity Lutheran Church as Associate Pastor.
Matt was born and raised in Edina, MN (a suburb in Southwest Minneapolis) and completed his undergraduate education at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities (BS 2013, family social science and religious studies). Matt recently graduated from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN (MDiv 2017). He did his pastoral internship at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Eagan, MN (2015-2016) and was ordained at Normandale Lutheran Church in Edina, MN (where he was baptized, confirmed and married). Trinity is Matt’s first call.
Matt met his wife Kelsey in 10th grade at Edina High School. They dated throughout college and got married in the summer of 2014. Kelsey has a degree in elementary education and worked as a Kindergarten Teacher for four years in Chaska, MN where they lived during Matt’s time at Luther.
In his free time, Matt enjoys fishing, reading, running, watching documentaries and football. Although he is far from his beloved Minnesota Vikings he will feel right at home in purple cheering on the TCU Horned Frogs. Pastor Matt has a strange obsession with Disney World and can only play one sport: foosball.
