Music Ministry

David and all the house of Israel were dancing before the Lord with all their might, with songs and lyres and harps and tambourines and castanets and cymbals.”

2 Samuel 6:5

Music is an integral part of worship in the life of Trinity Lutheran Church. Like David and the house of Israel, we desire to honor our Creator with “all our might” through song, dance, and the playing of musical instruments.

Adult Choir:  Come and be a member of this exciting group. We all have varying talent and ability. We lead the church in its song! We are cantors and leaders of liturgy and hymns. Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m.

Percussion:  Here is your opportunity to play a drum, scrape a guiro, clang an agogo, shake a tambourine and more! We meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m.

Drum Circle:  This is a new group which is open to all. This is a group where no talent is required. This is NOT a performance group. This is a time to play a drum or percussion instrument for an hour. It’s therapeutic, fun, and releases tension! Contact Dr. Furr for details.

Instruments:  Do you play the flute, harmonica, guitar, clarinet, oboe, trumpet, recorder, or something else? Contact Dr. Furr. We want you to play!
